Thank you for visiting the University of Iowa Children’s Hospital Open website.  The Iowa City/Coralville Area Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) is pleased to partner with RTL Equipment, PODS, and Touchless Car Washes to bring you one of the more exciting charitable golf scramble and PRO-AM tournaments in the Iowa Section of the PGA. Benefiting University of Iowa Children’s Hospital, the UI Children’s Hospital Open committee is proud of the $50,000 the event has been able to donate to UI Children’s Hospital in its first two years!  The tournament came about in 2010 when former Hawkeye and current placekicker for the San Diego Chargers, Nate Kaeding, and the CVB wanted to reformat the Nate Kaeding Golf Tournament into an even bigger and more successful event!  We are excited to have Nate & Sam Kaeding and Kirk & Mary Ferentz as tournament hosts.

In continued support, proceeds from the the third annual University of Iowa Children’s Hospital Open & Kick-Off Scramble go toward the construction of the new University of Iowa Children’s Hospital, set for completion in March 2016.  This new facility will consolidate the pediatric medical services that are currently spread throughout the hospital complex, and will be a special healing environment for children and their families.  As the hub of a system of care for the entire state, current programs will be expanded and new services offered at the hospital and throughout Iowa to meet the current and future needs of Iowa’s children.  More information is available on the UI Children’s Hospital building website.
